Just have the Lidocaine on hand instead of Benadryl.

One year our school was the only one open in the county on a snow day. I had eight very resentful children in my class that day. What to do? We went out and played in the snow and built a snowman.
While I disagreed with the superintendent’s decision, some parents got ridiculously bent out of shape. Some threatened to pull their children out of the school. Talk about getting your priorities messed up.
The superintendent’s decision. They were indignant she didn’t postpone school and wrote to the newspaper to complain, voiced their indignation at the next School Board meeting, etc… It was bizarre how fired up they got.
Snow days are tough to call. Ours depend if the buses can make the runs or not and there are some tricky routes. This means town kids could make it to school but everything is shut down. No one wins on snow days yet that bonus day was nice occasionally.
I was wondering what Gene Shalit was up to these days.
He did wear bow ties…
Yes, but not directly under his nose.
Double duty does the trick.
I love it when life gives me snow. It means mowing season is officially over.
Sorry, snow blowing is more tedious. Gimme me riding lawnmower 👍🏻
Snow shoveling ain’t dirty or allergy-inducing though.

Were they upset about the snow play or the superintendent’s decision🧐

Love this! I miss snow on my doorstep…but not so much that I’m willing to move back to where it’s part of winter.
I’m sure Amazon sells snow in a box. I’m ready to box ours up and it’s barely December.
